HISTORY,
BACKGROUND & USES:
Discovered in 1801 by Andrès Manuel del Rìo. Vandium is quite rare. It is a silvery-white soft metal. Alloyed
with steel and iron, high-strength structural steel and wear-resistant
cast iron can be produced.
